The 1st year of training

Hello Phong. Thank you for taking the time to answer a few questions. Please tell us a bit about yourself at the beginning.

Phong: I'm happy to tell other people and interested parties about my experiences at Resolto and in training so far. I am Phongsathon Roloff, 27 years old and have been doing an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development at Resolto Informatik GmbH since 01.08.2019. In my free time, I like to do sports, read a lot and try out new activities. I particularly enjoy learning something new, so I was really looking forward to the training.

What did you expect from your apprenticeship and from Resolto before you started?

Phong: At the beginning, especially at the interview, I was nervous and tense because I was afraid of the challenge. In the end, all my fears were unfounded and I was able to successfully master my first challenge. I hoped to learn a lot about programming from the training. I quickly realised that there was more to the training than programming and software development. I expected Resolto to perceive me directly as a team member and to help me quickly with questions and problems.

Have your expectations been fulfilled?

Phong: Definitely. I was treated like a full member right from the start and accepted into a pleasant and open working environment. For me, Resolto stands for trust, helpfulness and competence. There are frequent discussions, which help you to progress step by step and nothing stands in the way of innovation. Problems are also addressed directly.

That makes us very happy! How would you describe your everyday life and your tasks as an trainee?

Phong: My tasks are very varied. Depending on the project, I work in the SCRAITEC team or in the CONFIGON team. I do a wide variety of tasks - from writing a manual to searching for bugs to developing new features.

One last question. What do you wish for the future?

Phong: I hope to complete my training successfully and to develop personally and professionally. Of course, I would also like to remain an integral part of Resolto in the long term.
